HTC Touch, an iPhone Rival?

Everybody knows the iPhone will be released on June 29th, and one of the comments I’ve heard the most is that it’s a bit too pricey to run out and purchase. For those who just don’t want to marry themselves to AT&T for an iPhone or pay the price, there may be an alternative right around the corner.

Confirmed: iPhone Release Date is June 29th

All of the speculation can now end on when the iPhone will debut. The confirmed release date came from three commercials that started airing on TV in the US last night (June 3rd). The commercials showed off all that the iPhone has to offer, and also included a message saying that the iPhone would be coming June 29th. Not June 14th, not June 20th, and not June 30th.

Two-Sided Functionality with Next Gen iPod

Thanks to a patent application that Apple filed recently, we now have details on the next Gen iPod, perhaps even an iPhone Nano too. The one thing I gathered immediately from it is that it looks like it’s going to be a lot less thumb controlled. I don’t know about you, but right now I use my thumb to control everything on my iPod.

Apple and Cisco Finally See Eye to Eye with iPhone

After Steve Jobs wowed the crowed at Macworld in January by introducing the iPhone, he had some serious business to take care! The problem? Cisco had the name iPhone trademarked years ago, which left Apple dealing with a trademark-infringement lawsuit which was filed in federal court shortly after the Macworld announcement.

Verizon Turned it’s Nose up at the iPhone

It's been about a month since Apple unveiled the iPhone to an audience who generally responded with ooo's and aaah's. I'm sure everybody knows by now about Apple's exclusive deal with Cingular to be the sole provider in the United States for iPhone service. They have five years to the iPhone, all to themselves.
