Microsoft Wisens Up to Windows 7 Cracks?

Over the weekend I decided to download Windows 7 Build 7264, which is the latest build to have been leaked. This was considered to be an RTM escrow build, which meant that this would have been the version that gets shipped given that Microsoft didn't find any show-stopper bugs.

More Windows 7 M3 Screenshots Leaked

Last week we saw a revamped version of Paint in the third Windows 7 milestone. At the time there weren't any other screenshots available, but it looks as though someone who got their hands on Windows 7 M3 has decided to post some screenshots showing off more of the enhancements.

Xbox 360 Dropping Down to $299

Gizmodo received a tip a few days back that pointed to updated pricing for the Xbox 360. It appears that a $50 price drop down to $299 is on the way, and might be coming as soon as this Sunday. Accompanying the price drop signs is a memo stating that the enclosed materials are not to be displayed before July 13th... I guess Internet leaks are okay as long as no one physically puts out the signs.

Adobe Photoshop CS4 Stonehenge

I was quite surprised today when I saw an email in my Inbox letting me know that Adobe Photoshop CS4 (codename Stonehenge 11.0) has been leaked. I checked some of the BitTorrent sites and it does indeed look like it is available to anyone that wishes to download it.

More Windows 7 Screenshots

A few different people have posted screenshots of Windows 7 Milestone 1, which is a very early look at what's supposed to be released in 2009 or 2010. The last time we saw screenshots of Windows 7 Milestone 1 there wasn't really anything that exciting, but a Russian site (English translation by Google) has really busted the lid off of any mysteries.

Vista SP1 Download in March

Microsoft just made a big announcement today stating that Vista SP1 has been completed and was released to manufacturing. Unfortunately Microsoft is holding off on making the Vista SP1 download generally available until the middle of March because of some driver issues reported by some testers.

Windows 7 Download NOT Leaked

With all the buzz surrounding Windows 7 in the last two weeks it comes as no surprise that there is a supposed leaked copy floating around the Internet. Torrent sites quickly picked up on the "leaked" version of Windows, and after that it started to spread like wildfire.

Real Windows 7 Screenshots?

In our last post just the other day we mentioned a Neowin forum member who had claimed to get his hands on Windows 7 Milestone 1. He walked through some of the things that he had noticed so far in the first milestone, but it wasn't much. It was generally the same thing as Vista, and without the screenshots to back it up people were skeptical of the legitimacy.

Download Windows XP SP3 via Windows Update

It's that time again! Yep, time for more Microsoft leaks. This time around a "hack" has been exposed that will let existing Windows XP users download and install a Release Candidate of Service Pack 3 (SP3) via Windows Update. If this sounds familiar to you it's probably because a similar hack was already leaked back in October for Vista SP1.
