Artweaver: Free Photoshop-like Image Editor

We always like coming across an interesting free application... especially when it sets out to accomplish a lot of what a paid application does. That's exactly the first impression I got when using Artweaver. They don't come out and say they are trying to emulate Photoshop, but they don't need to.

Windows only When it comes to photo editors there is definitely no shortage of them available. It's almost a guarantee that a Windows user can find a freeware application that will do all the things they want, and more. Some prime examples are Paint.NET, PhotoFilter, and the feature-rich Photoscape. Today we've got another one that we would like to add to our favorites: Photo! Editor.

Aviary: Edit and Create Images on the Fly

Thanks to Max, we received an invite to try out Aviary. It's a suite of web-based applications for "people who create." When I say a suite of applications, I mean it.  In all, they offer (well, eventually they'll offer) 18 different applications that each have their own purpose and function.
