Over the weekend I decided to download Windows 7 Build 7264, which is the latest build to have been leaked. This was considered to be an RTM escrow build, which meant that this would have been the version that gets shipped given that Microsoft didn't find any show-stopper bugs.

Today at the Worldwide Developers Conference Apple announced that the iPhone 3G is going to be released on July 11, 2008. Since then both Apple and AT&T have posted information answering many of the questions you all have been asking. Win; Mac; Linux Mozilla has released Firefox 3 RC2 today which is right on schedule, and that means we might still be on for a June launch of Firefox 3! It's even possible that this could be the last Release Candidate before Mozilla shoots for their world record.

Mozilla is hard at work getting ready for the launch of Firefox 3, and another Release Candidate is scheduled to be available tomorrow. They are still planning for a June launch of the next major milestone, and there is a lot of hype and anticipation surrounding the release. One thing you don't want to forget about is the Flock browser that is based upon Firefox!

Microsoft unexpectedly made an announcement yesterday that Office 2007 Service Pack 2 will include XML Paper Specification (XPS), Portable Document Format (PDF), and Open Document Format (ODF) support once it is released in 2009.

Development on the Firefox 3 browser is finally starting to wrap up. It's been a year and a half since Firefox 2 was released to the public, and by the end of May Firefox 3 will have entered the Release Candidate stages. This is all preparation for what looks to be a June 2008 launch of the long awaited Firefox 3 browser.

So Windows XP SP3 was finally completed on Monday which goes along with the release schedule that we had previously provided. TechNet and MSDN subscribers were furious that they would not be given the download until after it was released to the public, and looked at it as a slap in the face from Microsoft.

I know that many of you are anxiously awaiting the release of XP SP3, but it's almost as if Microsoft has kept it out of the public's hands to put all eyes on Vista SP1. After a mirage of release dates it looks like we may have some more that bare consistency with what we've heard thus far.
