A nice surprise recently appeared on the online UK Apple Store that confirms what people have been saying all along. Late last night and early today while searching for “Mac Pro,” the first result displayed an option that said “Now quad-core or 8–core processing power.”The image below is a screenshot of the listing from Tuaw.com who managed to get there before it was taken down.
Kotaku is a popular gaming blog that is part of the same network as Gizmodo and Lifehacker, and today they have been on a rollercoaster ride with Sony. I don't think that anyone would argue that getting used to Microsoft Office 2007's new interface takes some time. I've been using Beta 2 for what seems like forever (probably about 8 months in reality) and I finally feel comfortable being able to find the commands that used to reside on toolbars and menus in previous versions of Office.
There are some thoughts going around the Web that a version of Safari is going to be made for Microsoft Windows. Mary Jo Foley noticed in the Firefox Product Planning Guide (yes, I said Firefox) that there was some "speculation" of Apple releasing a version of Safari for Windows.
CES is off and running with Bill Gates as a keynote speaker kicking things off. It's a big CES for Microsoft, with the Windows Vista launch in less than a month.
