Stardock has released a new application called MyColors that will really appeal to college students/alumni and sports fanatics. The program itself is a free download, and it's goal is to completely skin your Windows XP or Vista operating system. It changes the theme, background, icons, gadgets, media player, and more.

Stardock just released a new cursor management program called CursorFX (previously known as CursorXP). It is designed so that users can install any of the hundreds of cursor themes that have been created. One of my personal favorites is Uista, which is particularly slick on Vista.

This is a well-designed app that many Vista users will surely love, and the last time I used it I put together a video of the version that costs $19.95 to purchase.

Stardock just released a free public Beta of the TweakVista software that will be launching in August of this year. This program is really focused on those people who want to control many different aspects of the Vista operating system that wouldn’t ordinarily be easy to change.

Object Desktop is a nice little suite of applications that can really change the way your Windows computer looks and feels. The $50 suite includes programs to replace icons, modify the right-click menu, skin Windows, and much much more. There are so many different programs that you can install with Object Desktop that we had a hard time covering them all in our detailed review.

Stardock DeskScapes Extends the Vista DreamScene

Yesterday Microsoft released the pre-release of DreamScene as part of the Ultimate Extras that Vista Ultimate users have the capability to use. It's one of those "wow" factors that a lot of people will probably be impressed with. You could take it and use it for it's face value, or you could dive in and try out DeskScapes which extends the Windows DreamScene and adds more capability.
