JAlbum is a free cross-platform program that I've been using for years, and before I got my Flickr account it was my only way to share digital photos with my family. I had a computer at my house being used to serve up the photos to anyone that requested them, but Flickr was too great of a deal to pass up.

One of the goals of Firefox 3 is for the Mac version of the browser to feel like a real Mac application. Mozilla tried to show a little bit of love to the Mac fans in Firefox 2 by making it fit in a bit better, but all the Mac users I know are still running it with a Safari-like theme.

After about a month in progress, we have finally launched a Learn Firefox redesign! Our focus was to bring a graphical appeal to the site since it is a "visual guide to the Firefox web browser," and we believe that we've successfully done that.

Opera Makes OLPC Browser Available to the Public

The One Laptop Per Child (OLPC) computers fall a little short from being a hardcore gaming machine, so they need to include an efficient Web browser that can handle the job without consuming all of the available resources. Opera is working on a custom version of their browser for the laptop but, as this post states it really isn't anything different other than a custom skin and toolbar.

Vista Transformation Pack 4.0 was just released and it does a great job of giving your XP machine the Vista look. In December last year Windows Blinds released a new version of their software that was designed to provide Windows XP with transparent effects, however, it wasn't free. That is where the Vista Transformation Pack comes into play.
