Yahoo has spent some time redesigning their personalized homepage, My Yahoo to give it a new Web 2.0 look and feel.  It’s a private beta for now, but will be available to more people later on, and new features are expected as well.

Yahoo Nixed Mixd a Week Ago, no one Noticed!

Yahoo has decided to ditch their mobile service pilot program called Mixd just a few months after it started.  It was geared towards the younger crowd, but apparently didn’t latch on like they expected.  In fact, the service ended over a week ago, yet no one noticed until yesterday.  That ought to say something right there.

Microsoft, Yahoo, and Google Stories Compared

Fortune recently named Google as the #1 company to work for in 2007.  You’ve probably heard about all of the perks like free gourmet food all day long, snacks up the wahzoo, oil changes and car washes on site, and the list goes on. One Google employee took the liberty of creating a page on Flickr where they post pictures of the food they ate at work.

We came across Yahoo's announcement yesterday for their "Digg-like" site for voting on suggestions. It really didn't seem to be anything exciting to write about, so we didn't. Then this morning, we came across the submission for this announcement over at Digg, and as I'm writing this, there are nearly 2,988 Diggs.

Yahoo! Launches Pipes, Clogged Already

Yahoo!  recently launched a new services called Pipes, and in short, it's an "interactive feed aggregator and manipulator." By using it, you can "create feeds that are more powerful, useful and relevant" Sounded interesting enough to me, so I thought I'd go check it out. Unfortunately when I went to go give it a try and create a new pipe, I got this message:

Flickr is now Integrated into MyBlogLog

It was just the beginning of January that Yahoo acquired MyBlogLog for an estimated 10-12 million. We were wondering how long it would take Yahoo to  integrate some of their other acquired services like Flickr. Well, that question has been answered because Flickr has been integrated into MyBlogLog.
