The Microhoo Saga Continues…

And the saga continues... yesterday we reported that Yahoo officially turned down Microsoft's offer to acquire them for $44.6 billion dollars. Yahoo said that the offer undervalued them, and so they weren't interested (typical corporate response for a first offer).  Microsoft has now responded to Yahoo and the story gets more and more interesting.

Yahoo Says They’re Not Ready to be Microhoo

It's been a little over a week since news broke that Microsoft offered to acquire Yahoo for $44.6 billion. Their offer translated out to about $31 dollars per share which many people had said was too low for a company that was trading at that price not long ago. Sure enough, Yahoo felt that the offer undervalued them and formally rejected Microsoft.

People like DRM-free because it means once they download a song or album, they can play the song on multiple devices. When Amazon's service launched, it got rave reviews.
