Nice Find!

Here's another one I like:

http://www.mediachance.com/free/renamer.htm

It's also called Renamer so I thought you were talking about this program at first. But as I followed the links, I seen it wasn't the same software. This one is very easy to use. I was able to rename 100s of files in a few short seconds. :)

Just a couple of weeks ago (before reading this article) I was in need and found Lupas Rename. It worked perfectly and it previews your file-renaming so you can make sure the new names look as you want.

I use this one, <a href="http://www.skyjuicesoftware.com/software/QuickFileRename/" rel="nofollow">Quick File Rename</a>, which allows you to tag mp3s and rename from the command line. Not free though.

Yeah, that's one of the reasons I love it. They actually offer a portable version on their site as I mentioned.

That would be nice, but I think it's pretty straightforward when making the rules.

That's not bad, but the interface doesn't look all that great. I think ReNamer is a bit easier to use.
