But it's nice to know there are still other free 411 services out there, like 1-800-Free411. We run on an ad supported model, so there are no ulterior motives to providing the service. Plus, you can get residential listings, not just business. While Google certainly has covered their tracks by announcing that they’re recording the call, I can understand that some users might feel uncomfortable using Goog411 after this latest revelation.
