Hey Ryan, would happen to know if Thuberbird 3 is going to be getting visual refresh much like Firefox 3 did? Like integrating into the OS.

I don’t think so. Doing something like that takes a lot of resources, and I don’t think that it’s something the Thunderbird team has enough of to spare.

I’m still waiting for the effects of the recent reorganisation. I find that the development of Thunderbird is going way too slow at the moment if they want to keep up with the rest of the market. Fingers crossed the 3.0 of Thunderbird will impress as much as the 3.0 of Firefox

I would like to see the development speed pick up as well, but I think it will always be about a year behind Firefox.
