Amazon.com has just released their “Best of 2007″ lists which include products in different categories that were bestselling, reviewed most positively, products that appeared most often on Wish Lists of Amazon customers, and most popular gift products. While they cover many, many different topics, we’ll just take a look at the technology related “Best of” items for 2007.
Bestselling products on Amazon.com in 2007:

Obviously from this list we can tell what products were in-demand. Notice that Nintendo Wii was on the list three times, while Apple’s 4GB iPod nano was both a most wished-for product and the most popular gift? Additionally, the Apple MacBook notebook PC was a most-loved product and a most popular gift. After looking at these lists, I think it’s safe to say that both Nintendo and Apple had a huge year!
I will just have to live with my custom Nintendo Wii theme for the XBMC instead of the real thing (Photo’s on forum,usual thread). Also good to see Nokia Tablets on the lists
I’m really astounded by Apple’s success in recent times.
Wow, so every category had either the Wii or a game for the Wii. Nintendo is on fire!

I’m currently saving for a nice digital camera and had my eyes fixed on a Canon PowerShot A-570 IS. I’m so happy it’s a hot item on Amazon’s list.
IMO digital cameras are excellent blogging tools to help convey your messages to your readers.

It is rather amazing, but they really do deserve every ounce of success that they’ve been getting. They’ve been both innovative and creative in the products that they’ve been producing lately.
Wouldn’t it be something if the Wii was topping the charts next year as well?
Got to say, I’m very happy with my new Macbook Pro. Made my most die hard windows friend change his mind about macs.
