The consumer release of Windows Vista is just a few months away but many people are afraid of using it because of program compatibility problems. Similarly, people don’t want to use Ubuntu as their primary operating system because they will not be able to use some of the programs that they are familiar with in Windows, but at the same time they want to experiment with Linux.
Don’t worry, there is now a nice tutorial here on how to triple boot Vista, XP, and Ubuntu so that you can have all of your favorite operating systems installed on the same computer. You’ll then be able to see if Linux is right for you and also play around with Vista all while keeping XP safely installed on your computer.
The best thing about the tutorial is that it walks you through all of the steps using a lot of screenshots, so that you can easily see what you need to do. I highly recommend checking it out and bookmarking it even if you decide that you don’t want to use it right now.

its just infuriating that you HAVE to do vista last.
another reason why i refuse to spend money on M$ products.

So what OS do you use?
Thanks Ryan!
I’ve always wanted to give Linux a try.
could i do a double boot of vista and ubuntu of a usb hard drive ????
He probably uses Windows…just doesn’t spend money on it.
No problem. I have found Linux to be extremely amazing especially if you install the 3D effects. I can’t wait for more Linux distributions to make it easier to enable the 3D effects but I’m sure it will happen over time.
Well, for starters you would need at least an 8GB drive for Vista.
