You can see how much RAM Firefox is taking up by using pressing Ctrl-Alt-Delete and looking for Firefox.exe . Normal usage is probably 60MB to 100MB but some people see usage sky rocket up to 300-400MB, which means there is a memory leak.Some Firefox extensions cause these leaks but Firefox itself can also be the culprit.
