I’m surprised that isn’t one of the only things they made available at first, because I was getting a lot better speeds from the Ttorrent compared to anything else. Maybe they’ll learn to utilize the Torrent network immediately when a new release is made available, instead of promoting only the mirrors.

That’s just the 32bit version which is for most people

Part of the problem was because everyone was linking directly to the ISO image on Ubuntu’s server, and it was having troubles delivering since it is used to having the load spread out amongst the mirrors. It looks like their normal site is now back online though.

Well also [shots.linuxquestions.org] is blogged down as well with many people trying to view the screen shots of Ubuntu & Kubuntu 7.04. Well I already have mine (actually I have had it on my laptop since the beta came out), and I am currently uploading the torrent file at max.
