These 1300mAh USB Cell batteries aren’t your the typical batteries that you would pick up at the gas station. Instead, you can plug these directly into your computer’s USB ports in order to give them a charge.
Unfortunately it will take you around 5 hours just to get these things up to a 90% charge, which seems a little long to me. Get yourself a USB hub and you can have yourself a nice little charging station.

I’ve got it! Take one of [engadget.com] and one of the batteries shown above, and you’ve got a usb rechargable portable cell phone charger. Though that probably already exists somewhere else.
That’s not nearly as cool.
Think about all your friends that would stare at you absolutely confused when they see you flip the top off of your AA battery and plug it into your USB port.
Edit: Oops, I thought you were saying not to use these batteries and to use that charger instead. If you use both then you will be twice the geek.
That’s pretty crazy!
I think i might order a few of those sometime.
Now to find something that still uses AA Batteries
My wireless mouse uses AA, many of my remotes do and several wall clocks.
I have all kinds of stuff that still uses AA batteries.
Would be handy for my cordless mouse since I seem to go through batteries in it fairly quickly. Of course may be if I weren’t using cheap batteries they would last longer
Yeah, we always thing we’re saving money by going with the cheap batteries, but then we have to replace them 10 times as often.
