1. Mr. Wetzel should know better then to listen to politicians… they usually say what their PR person tells them to say.

2. Sounds to me like the Illinois Department of Revenue got some “gifts” from some petrol companies.

That’s very strange. I’ve heard about driving cars on vegetable oil a lot, but I never heard of it being illegal. Was the car a diesel? I heard diesel cars can run off vegetable oil EZ. Never heard of a standard gasoline car doing it.

My dad drove a 1984 Toyota Celica daily until just a few months ago. He didn’t make it run off of vegetable oil, though.
