Here in India, we have very horrible bandwidth (256 kbps DL, half speed uploads are just beginning), but many ISPs offer unlimited “flat-rate” internet. Btw, how much is the “limit” in the US, if it’s limited??

For the wireless service they say anything over 5GB per month is too much, but for most cable Internet connections they don’t care. I’ve never really heard of an official limit to a hardwired connection in the U.S.

How could a cell company take advantage of their customers like this>! I was just starting to think about getting one of these cards from my cell phone company, but now that I think about it, I don’t want to have to deal with them anymore than I have to.

Almost all cell companies are underhanded like this. It is such a shakey business, and one I would not want to be part of. I’ve thought about getting one of these cards as well, but having to consciously think about how much you’ve used it is definitely not appealing.
