No, the iPhone won't work with it. At least not yet!

Really, what use is it on a 1-10 scale? My criticism is that is it really a killer-app? You sit your phone on it, press a button and it tells you what other colors it comes in? Ummmmmmmmmmmm. It’s just an updated multimedia kiosk, nothing to go ga-ga over ;)</blockquote></div>
Why am I not surprised that you managed to find a way to criticize Surface? ;) I'd be curious what you thought of it and if you would still criticize it if you actually tried it for yourself.

I personally think Surface is an amazing technology and can't wait for it to become mainstream. Have you ever seen any of the demo videos of what it can do? It's a LOT more than a updated kiosk, that's just all it's setup for in the AT&T store. I'm really surprised that anyone in to tech wouldn't think that is awesome. It's the first test, give them a chance.

I've got to say I would expect them to be more serious in their push, this is the first place Surface will likely be seen by people so they should be rolling out more than FIVE nationwide.

Put a couple of hundred of these and other stores may start to bite, yes for MS there would be a large initial cost but surely it is worth it to give this tech a chance?
