If you’re one of those people that get bored with the same old skin, then Vista Color Transform (Download Mirror) is the application for you! This light-weight freeware application sits in your System Tray alternating the colors of the Taskbar and window-borders found in Vista. You do, however, need to have Aero enabled for this to work.
I think all Vista owners should try this out at least one time because it doesn’t even require installation. All you have to do is download it, unzip the files, and run the executable. It will then place a little icon in your System Tray that you can double-click on to customize the settings.
There are several different color presets that you can choose from, such as the Patriotic that shuffles through red, white, and blue colors. Or, if you’re really adventurous give the “MY EYES!” scheme a whirl…you’ll surely understand how that preset got its name. :)
One of the features that is kinda cool though is that you can have it adjust the color based upon how much of the battery remains on your laptop. So maybe when you’re at 100% you’ll have the color be white, but then as the battery continues to drain more and more you can have it slowly change to a red. That way you are subconsciously monitoring your battery life.

Hey, thanks for sharing this application with me, having a problem though I want to restore to the default colours but even when I restart the colours from this program still show up. How do I get rid of or “uninstall” this program?
