They are giving oem bios for sp1, i’ve seen it. Luckily I have A LEGIT version which PPL should get

Just don’t be surprise when you get the news that SP1 has been hacked a week later. I agree that they need sales, but if people give themselves the trouble to pirate Vista this means they have potential customers who like their product.

I've read that flashing your BIOS is a lost more risky though, and could really screw things up.

The OEM BIOS cracks will not work. I guess that is the software based one. I have read that you can actually flash your bios to trick the OEM Vista installs also.
