It has only been a week since the last Vista Transformation Pack was released but some changes were in order since Microsoft made Vista Pre-RC1 available to the public. Vista Transformation Pack 5.5 has added the cursors, icons, tray icons, and background from Vista Pre-RC1 along with several bug fixes.
That means if you were having problems installing or using the last pack it will hopefully work for you this time. Your other alternative, if you didn’t get Vista Pre-RC1, would be to wait around a week to download Vista RC1 and then you’ll have the real thing…bugs and all.

As usual I will try it on my cousin’s PC
It’s always good to test software on any machine but your own.
Did anybody test this yet to see whether it uninstalls without any problems?
I haven’t tested it yet but I would imagine that something won’t uninstall properly. It’s just that the package does so much that it makes it difficult to undo everything…especially after people have gone and changed all of the settings around.
Yeah. There are many complains about this issue in their forum.
and everything went OK!
BTW, have upgraded VTP on my cousin’s PC
I’m currently using the Arrow theme for WindowBlinds 5. It’s not quite as good as the Vista theme, but it doesn’t put stupid bars on the top and bottom of the explorer window which resize as you select an image, meaning the folder scrolls and you can’t use double click any more. The bar should be on the side, and remain on the side.
On the other hand, the cool logon screen would be nice. For a Winamp theme that goes well with Vista, try [axialix.home.insightbb.com]
Isn’t it funny how everyone always uses one operating system to look like another. I have seen plenty of people try and make Windows look like a Mac…is there any software that will theme a Mac to look like Windows?
I tried the pack, and it was ok, but uninstalling it is a whole new ball game, even now i have some vista icons still left.
Does this come with the side bar ? CURIOUS
