I’m not quite sure how the upgrades work, but I believe that the installation process would ask you for the Product Key from your Windows XP. That should be on some sort of sticker glued to your computer…that’s what Dell normally does with the product keys.

I have a Dell without the restore CDs. Will I have any trouble upgrading? Will I have any problems uninstalling the upgrade?
