Now THAT sounds like something Microsoft would do! Reminds me of that VISA Small Business commercial where execs are trying to think of something and ask what would XYZ do? I could just see it now…Apple IPOD developers siting around wondering ‘what would Microsoft do’?

That said, I think Microsoft stands a better chance than anyone of putting a dent in Apple's monstrous sales.
