I notice that any mention of this is completely absent from Ebay’s pages. They act as if this never happened. This is complete rubbish and they should be exposed for their lack of customer protection and care.

To be honest I wouldn’t expect them to plaster it all over their site. That would be like them admitting that their security sucks, and the last thing they want to do is make their users feel threatened by being members.

Not everyone on eBay knows about phishing scams, unfortunately. I’m sure a good percentage would easily fall for one. I’m so glad my mom comes to me whenever something looks suspicious.
