Great work there, I have been using the alpha builds for the last few weeks. They take alot of getting used to. FF has been stable with the alpha build but I miss my extensions.

It was probably those same extensions that began to erode its experience.

Some people have reported that changing that option doesn’t work for all extensions. I’m not sure why but that is what I’ve heard.

You know you don’t need that Nightly Tester tools ext; just change the about:config pref extensions.checkCompatibility to FALSE

Google released a new extension called [the-lastword.blogspot.com] which helps one to keep their browser settings in sync, since it backs up stuff to google’s servers.

This is a good tool to use for testers as well! Saves a lot of trouble!

Google released Google Sync to save browser settings. That can also be used by testers if they want to keep their data secure. More on that at Google Sync

Thanks for the history on Peter(6). I haven’t been a nightly tester for that long so I didn’t realize how hectic the forums were before that. They are pretty organized now.
