It's definitely got some speed issues right now. Took about 6 seconds before I saw anything on the screen, but I'm guessing they are probably still getting hammered pretty good.

The site is not exactly snappy, isn't it?

Seems another contender to Digg and reddit, which is welcome as those sites suck hard IMO. I've been visiting Newspond regularly as well, though this one relies solely on computer algorithms (you can't trust humans, anyway ;)). And it also acts funky in Opera, like Buzz :lol:

@Omar: It is definitely frustrating when you use Opera and you come across a site that doesn't load properly. I always have Firefox and Opera open at all times just for that reason. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that one of these days, it will no longer be an issue. :)

@Ashley:

Thanks for the tip. I'll be visiting the site shortly. It sounds interesting, not exactly like Digg.

"The first is simply the fact that there are serious issues when viewing the site in Opera. That’s the browser I was using when I first pulled up the site and I had to switch to Firefox to view it. Yahoo is such a big name, you’d think they would make sure the site was compatible with Opera."

I have the same problems when I use Opera; many web sites will not load properly or none at all. That's why I've decided to keep it in the back burner.

Regards,

Omar.-
