Google Talk: Video calls and Conferencing now Available

Yes, I find this message in Internet. To use this option you need to download small software from Festoon, company different from Google. Then in the process of installing of the software you need to input your gmail.com User ID and Password.

It is not only seems, it is not helpful for your gmail.com and Google Talk security.
Why? The Festoon is collected the information of your and for all users, going to install this software, about your and other users passwords.

Any way I tested to install this software. In the time of installation I sow Festoon software asks for which users I will use Video calls. In the same time all users from my personal list was in Festoon software and I am sure this information about my users list was in Festoon, too.

I think I pointed for you 2 reasons as minimum on which you can think to use or to do not use Festoon video software for your Google Talk client.

If you want to do your gmail.com user ID and Password plus the list of your Google talk users public, you can use Festoon video for Google talk!

It is my personal point of view. I will be happy to know your point!
Best regards,
Don

I loved the gtalk client and service, but I still have many friends just on AIM. This would definitely make my life better, as I don't like GAIM that much.

I assume you're like me then and don't care about all of the eye candy and features, instead you just like a trimmed down messenger?
