I'm thinking of having an iPhone as a replacement for my iPod (and my phone, and my Palm Pilot). I just don't need room for a million songs. I generally load about 1-2 GB at a time anyway. I know why Apple didn't implement this feature earlier: to make you dump your old iPod and go back for a new one that has WiFi capabilities. It was just a trick to sell more iPods.
