Well, what can I say, it is very difficult to change your personal preferences in 7, well atleast it was for me when i got my hands on one for the first time. I dont see the big deal in this OS. Honestly I have to say that for me my Vista runs very smooth, I prefer it over 7, it is just so much simpler to use. The taskbar in 7 looks cool, but the vista one looks cool too. I have a windows 7 theme on my laptop just for looks, but thats it. I stick with vista, besides the updates fix ALOT of bugs in vista OS. One thing does suck on vista, too many security warnings, that does bother me. Vista with dual core procesors and 3 gb of ram runs very smoothly. I recomend Vista. Xp too old and overunned, Vista quite heavy, but packs a punch, Windows 7 not SO heavy, but lacks power.

Refrigerator ? LOl ahahahah i wet my self lol ahahahahahaa
LOL this shit is so fucking FUNNY.
Seriously i agree. I used Windows 7 for a few weeks now.
At first i thought i would never like it but i needed to code few programs that require me to learn vista or windows 7 environment so i gave it a shot.
After about 3-4 weeks i went back to XP just to see how it feels adn i have to admin that XP felt so good, so fast worry free drivers issues free but full of viruses and HDD failures.
Because XP (just recently) started to mess with my hard-drives telling me that my data is corrupted i had to switch to Windows 7 because i didnt want to loose my data.

For those who worry about upgrade, just do fresh install but save your program settings/files or what ever u need to resume its work.

I have few small scripts written in CMD and autoit posted on my website at www.adrenalineparty.com under savers/fixers. Those files help me to automatically save any data that one or another program needs to run and if you reinstall windows, those files automatically restored to original places and your program or game is activated and registered and ready to use as if you never reinstalled windows.

I used to reinstall XP daily for testing those programs and they work like a charm
They are also free to download, there is no registration or any crap. Also all of them come with source code so you can see for your self that those saver fixers are harmless and 100% safe to use.
I dont have saver fixer made for each program in the world but only few most popular once. If requested on my forum, saverfixer can make one and ill post it there ASAP.

no sir, windows 7 sucks !! by majority, just because it runs on the latest hardware doesnt make it any better , the ONLY good thing about windows was to have packed the damn drivers, in fact windows IS a garbage truck full of drivers with an expensive price tag. for the 90% of us who deal with different and older versions of hardware win 7 SUCKS !! i rather assemble drivers in Linux and make them work 1000% faster than in this POS. unfortunately i have to have an os which is compatible with the rest of my family so im going back to XP the ONLY decent os microsoft could release after DOS 6.2 m yeah not even 98 gets my stars. sorry dude win 7 sucks, im thinking to moving to java programming altogheter, i dont think MS has more life left.

Windows 7 stable, lol. Explorer crashed installing MS Office. lol, just because you can play some recent games and actually keep that POS Windows box powered on doesn't mean it's stable. And just because you can mulitask, don't give it up to the OS, you're running maxed out RAM for a 32 bit OS and a higher end Dual-Core Processor dumbass.

I've been using Windows 7 for a while now and I must say I'm thrilled! I'm what you might refer to as a heavy user and despite this have had no problems at all. No hardware problems; no hassles at all. Way way better than Vista, I've now installed it on all five of my machines and so far so good.
