Windows Live Messenger 8.0.0566 Released With New Interface

Microsoft has released a new version of Windows Live Messenger with the build number 8.0.0566 which is now available for you to download. The service is still by invite only so unfortunately you will have to wait if you are not already part of the beta program. Current users are forced to upgrade to this build in order to continue operating Windows Live Messenger. Here are some of the notable changes (from zKills): Contact List: – Nickname in black, personal status message in soft gray. – Status icon back to the same old MSN v7 – Your Display Picture and buttons aligned to the left again – Word Wheel layout changed, Buddy List buttons now placed at the right hand side. – New icons for expanding groups. – Tab icons placed back inside the main window. – Less spacing between contacts. Conversation Window: – Ink/type tabs on the right.
