This definitely does not sound promising. Hopefully they will catch on at some point (maybe when Yahoo takes over Microsoft from the inside). I came across a new service today called ADrive that provides 50GB of free storage. I haven’t tried it yet so I can’t comment on how good it is, but at 50GB free, it seems worth a try and definitely better than Microsoft’s stab at this service. Wow! 50GB of free storage is insane. I'll definitely have to check that out.

I have been using Skydrive for a while now and I really don’t have any complaints. I have only uploaded some small documents and a few pictures. These went so fast that I never really noticed the missing status bar.

Their intentions are good, but I hope they are still going to work pretty heavily on the service.
