You’ve got to be kidding? No timeline? I somehow missed the fact that there was even a new version. I found it, but decided to check out the other reviews before removing and uploading this new version. While I haven’t actually used it, I can’t see what use it would be if you don’t have the timeline. Adding narration or setting photographs to the specific lyrics in a song would be much more difficult without a timeline. Seems like Microsoft missed the mark again. Thanks for sharing and saving me the grief of downloading this version!

I hated this version from when i first set my eyes on it. I didnt understand how i was able to make my videos without the timeline feature and create it how i want to. I had to uninstall it since it had no worth to me and i never looked back.

I can see how you’d feel that they missed the mark. Personally I think they were right on though. I’ve already shown the app to some less tech-savvy people and they love how simple it is to use. I think Microsoft really hit home with the general consumer market.

I’m glad it’s not going to work on XP. I use the timeline function quite a bit and I’d be rather annoyed if I updated to this version and found I didn’t have it any more. As I don’t use any MS OS’s other than XP any more I know I’m safe!

M$ should stick to making OS. They missed the mark on this product. Why have a DVD feature if you are only making a video a couple minutes long? I’ve been kicking the tires on this new version for a few days now, testing it across several platforms and can crash it at will. I’m angry at myself for believing that M$ was putting out a good product, here. Next step for me, appwiz.cpl and uninstall it from my life.
