The Windows Vista Team Blog says that they are ”initially rolling out the code to the TechBeta and TAP programs alone, while MSDN and TechNet subscribers will be offered access next week.” I Can’t wait!

I’m still waiting for 5536 to be downloaded – 84.7% so far.

I wonder how different the builds will be.

  2. There is quite a difference in version numbers so I would imagine that there are some significant bug fixes. I expect one of the bug fixes to make Avast work with Vista.

  3. Does anyone know if the activation has been bypassed yet?

  4. I doubt it will be until the final version is released. I heard that Microsoft has plans of changing the activation a little bit so it wouldn’t be worth a hacker’s time to crack it when people can get legitimate keys.
