Windows Vista Touring the States

January 17th, 2007

Windows Vista is on tour via a big Vista theme coach. With just 12 days before its’ launch, the coach will be heading around the East coast of the U.S. to give demos. They’ve created a Tour Bus Gadget that you can use to track the journey. It uses a GPS unit on the bus so that you’ll always know where it’s at, and you can get the gadget for the Vista Sidebar (if you’re using it), Google, Live.com, or Windows Live Spaces.

The pictures above shows what the inside and outside look like. They’ve got four flat-panel TVs with satellite reception, wireless Internet throughout (I’d hope so!), a full kitchen, and leather seating for 18! The tour started on the 16th and will continue until the 24th. Today they left Lexington, Kentucky and then they’ll be headed for Cincinnati, a stop at Jeffersonville, and a mid-afternoon stop at Ohio State University.  Tonight and/or tomorrow they’ll be in the Pittsburgh area.

Also, keep your eye out for the CyberNet Vista and Office 2007 giveaway, it will be coming up shortly… :)
