Reddit obamaObama’s Appearance on Reddit Breaks Some of Their Records
Obama held an unannounced “IAMA” (stands for I Am A…) session on Reddit last week where users of the site could ask him questions. He only ended up answering 10 questions, but drove nearly 3 million pageviews to that page by the time the day came to an end. Reddit says it’s the first time a page has received more traffic than the front page at any one given time.

Galaxy note 2Samsung Galaxy Note II Announced
Samsung revealed the next generation Galaxy Note last week, which comes with an even larger 5.5-inch screen and will run Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.

Maxxo torrentDropbox Competitor Adds Torrent Support
Maxxo, a file syncing service similar to Dropbox, has added BitTorrent support so that you can download torrents by simply dropping a “.torrent” file into the Maxxo interface. Torrents are then downloaded through the Maxxo servers instead of using your own machine/network.

Amazon primeAmazon Ships More Prime Items Than Free Super Saver Items
Amazon announced last week that it ships more Prime items than they do Free Super Saver items. This may seem surprising since you have to pay $79/year for Amazon Prime, but I’m not all that shocked. If you pay for Prime you’ll be rather inclined to use it for as much as you can.
