ChromiumGoogle Chrome Exploit Earns Hacker $60k
A hacker that goes by “Pinkie Pie” managed to exploit Chrome at the Hack in the Box 2012 competition. As a result the hacker walked away with a cool $60k, which was offered up directly by Google. Google pushed out an update to Chrome users about 10-hours later.

Google has really been flexing their mapping muscles lately, and this latest news is a prime example of that. Their new Street View data includes updates from more than 250,000 miles of roads from around the world.

eBay rolled out a rather slight refresh of their site which now looks a little cleaner than it did before, but the big focus is on the new “Feed”. The eBay Feed will let users collect and share pictures of their favorite items on eBay using a Pinterest-like interface.

Google released Android 4.1.2 last week, and it was quickly pushed out to Nexus 7 devices. The update was packed with fixes, but also has new landscape mode for the built-in application launcher.
