Nope, personally I’m content w/ the Y!Mail web interface, I avoid installing things, and I’ve always got an internet connection up.

I did see that, but I was hearing a lot of bad things about it. If I recall it’s a cross platform app that runs using Java, and it eats up a lot of memory. Have you tried it out yourself yet?

I’m not sure that they’d go the color route with the Kindle though. That would surely drain the battery at a rapid pace, and users probably wouldn’t be happy about that.

I’ve been following Amazon’s Kindle since its launch last November and feel that the best is yet to happen to this highly convenient electronic book reader.

If color and graphic are included in the second generation of Kindles sometime in October, it will certainly raise many eyebrows amongst college students who don’t want to tow heavy loads of books around campus.

Maybe Kindle could become the future iPod of e-book readers.
