The long awaited Canon EOS 5D Mark III camera was announced last week, and will be released later this month for $3,499. It is packed with a new sensor, faster CPU, HDR mode, and more.
AT&T Sets Unlimited 3G Data Cap to 3GB, 4G LTE to 5GB
AT&T customers that have been grandfathered into unlimited data should know that AT&T now clearly states when users will get throttled. The limit is 3GB for 3G users, and 5GB for 4G LTE users.
Windows 8 Consumer Preview
Microsoft hit a big milestone with Windows 8 by rolling out the Consumer Preview, which is freely available for anyone to download and play with.
Raspberry Pi Linux PCs Go On Sale
The super small and ultra cheap Raspberry Pi Linux PCs went on sale last week for a mere $35, with a $25 model in the works. Needless to say it didn’t take long for the first batch to sell out.
Pirate Bay Drops Most Torrent Files
The Pirate Bay is promoting the use of magnet links on their site instead of the traditional .torrent files. Torrents that have less than ten seeders will still have the .torrent file available.
Apple’s iPad Event on March 7th
Apple is holding their new iPad announcement on Wednesday, March 7th. They are expected to show off their new tablet sporting a high-resolution retina display.
Nokia’s 41-Megapixel Camera Phone
Nokia showed off the 808 PureView camera phone last week that is packed with a 41MP sensor. The big advantage is that you can use the digital zoom without losing some of the sharpness in the photos.
850k Android Devices Activated Daily
At Mobile World Congress Google announced that they are activating 850k new Android devices each day, with the total number of Android devices at over 300 million.
