Until 2012?! I can understand people sticking with XP for a while (me included), but let’s be realistic, XP can’t handle the computers available in 2012. Not to mention Microsoft won’t like the idea of having three different versions of Windows available via one of the biggest PC vendors (and that’s excluding all the Vista SKUs). It will be confusing for buyers as well.

I agree completely Lashiec. I don’t believe any other operating system has been around for as long as XP if they end up extending the date until 2012. I get the people don’t like change, but eventually change is inevitable.

That’s kinda what I’m thinking as well. My guess is that people are too caught up in XP right now, but 4 years from now everyone might be feeling the same way with Vista. Who knows.
