Google has teamed up with Mozilla and offers extensions to make Firefox better, and Yahoo doesn’t want to be left behind! Yahoo is now offering an optimized version of IE7 Beta 2. Why you may ask? Well, because they can!
So what big changes are there? The only ones that I can see is that Yahoo made themselves the default search and the default homepage, of course. Sure sounds worth it to me!
Here is what they used to create it:
Yahoo! used the beta version of the Internet Explorer Administration Kit (IEAK) to customize IE7 to meet their needs. The IEAK is available to all developers and partners who want to create their own customized versions of IE7, as well as IT pros who want to use it to ease enterprise deployment. You can download it from the Microsoft Technet site.

How creative. If Firefox and Google is a match made in heaven, I’m sure we can all work out what Yahoo and IE/M$ would be…
Who cares, if Google had thrown their major lot behind IE then maybe I’d look up for a moment, but the fact that Yahoo support it means even less kudos for Yahoo and still no reason to use IE. Other than it looks cool.
Yeah, I can’t say that I was so excited that I ran over to download it. Especially now that Firefox has the Google Sync!

a moment of creativeness by Yahoo even tho they are still a step behind Google.
I would say that they are multiple steps behind Google. I am sure this is the start of them trying to catch up though.
