Yeah I have that script installed but I didn't realize that it's referred to LightBox as a whole. I just thought that was a wacky name for a g-monkey script.

Are we missing something? Do we have to somehow make the experience different? Would love to know what you think...

<del>Honestly I am actually more of a column kind of person. I like to be able to drag things around and arrange them so that they all line up nicely on the page.</del>

That is what I wrote and in the middle of writing that I thought to myself "wait a minute...they wouldn't have made it so that I can resize the widgets would they?" Then I went back to the page just to notice that you can resize almost everything! Okay, that just convinced me to switch but I wouldn't mind some of the other modules to be resizable as well, like the search box.

It's like combining Opera Widgets and Firefox. I don't know if Opera still has this feature, but I remember in a previous release choosing widgets would make the screen (in the browser) go a little dark and have a sort of film on the webpage with the widgets clearly on top of that screen. I don't know exactly what that's called.

This is typically referred to as LightBox and you can see an example of it being used with photo galleries here.

I don't know exactly what that's called. But this is what the yourminis extension does and it works flawlessly. I tried this and Netvibes and I like this site more just because it's flash. Everything is instantaneous and with Netvibes I sometimes had trouble moving their widgets (whatever they're called) around my pages.

Thanks for the positive words! We've been working hard to get the product out and we're going to continually improve it, taking the suggestions of our members to heart. The multiple tab view that you referred to is one of our favorite pieces of functionality as well.

Watch for our directory of published tabs which will be released in the next two weeks - we think it will bring yet another dimension to our application.

So the only question I'm left with is what's keeping you at NetVibes? Are we missing something? Do we have to somehow make the experience different? Would love to know what you think...
