True that, Microsoft knows what they’re doing (most of the time) so I’m sure they will play their cards wisely. I do think that not having podcasting support at launch hindered their sales a little.

Do you seriously believe MS will show all their cards, in the first hand? Rest assure podcasting is coming to Zune. Remember “updating” is how they keep us in the loop.

We all know that Microsoft doesn’t always do the logical thing, because they have some underhanded way of making an extra buck. I’m sure enough people will complain that they might actually rethink not having WMP 11 work with the Zune.
